The short version
KC Mobility Scooter Rentals LLC sends transactional text messages about your rental — confirmations, delivery and pickup updates, signing and payment links, and reminders. You opt in by checking a consent box when you book. We send no marketing or promotional texts. Reply STOP to any message to opt out at any time.
How you give consent (opt-in)
When you reserve a rental on kcmobilityrentals.com — or pre-register for an event, or check in at our event kiosk — the form includes an SMS consent box that is not pre-checked and entirely optional. You opt in only by actively checking it; your reservation is processed whether or not you do. The box reads:

Checking the box is your choice — your reservation is processed whether or not you opt in, and we send text messages only to customers who check it. The same optional consent box is shown on our event pre-registration page and our in-person event kiosk. We never add a number to messaging without that explicit opt-in, and consent is never pre-checked or bundled into an unrelated agreement.
What messages we send
Transactional, service-related messages only:
- Order and reservation confirmations
- Delivery scheduling and ETA updates
- Rental agreement signing links
- Payment links and receipts
- Equipment pickup and return reminders
- A brief post-rental follow-up
We do not send marketing, promotional, or advertising texts.
Message frequency
Roughly 2–6 messages per rental order, depending on whether you choose delivery, how many updates your rental needs, and the post-rental follow-up.
Cost
We do not charge for text messages, but message and data rates may apply depending on your mobile carrier and plan.
How to opt out or get help
- Reply STOP to any message to unsubscribe from all further texts.
- Reply HELP for help, or contact us directly (below).
- Opting out of texts does not cancel your rental — we will reach you by email or a phone call instead.
Privacy
Your mobile number is used only to send the rental-related messages described above. We do not sell, rent, or share your mobile number or opt-in data with third parties for their own marketing.
