  • “I have MS and I walk with a walker. I attended the Renaissance festival 3 years ago using my wheelchair and a couple of hearty grandsons. It was rough on my walker and miserable for me. This year I heard about this scooter business and was excited to be able to rent it for the festival. I love to attend the festival with my grandkids and great-grandkids and I hate being a burden to them having to push me in a wheelchair. Renting the scooter was easy. The day of the event, meet up went well and I had the best time ever! The scooter was sturdy, well made and easy to operate. I had used a scooter similar to this one a few years ago when I went on a cruise. The scooter did well over the rough terrain of the Renaissance festival. I kept it at the turtle speed which was plenty since there was largest attendance I had ever seen. I was surprised when it was small enough to weave into privy. I was concerned about that, where other handicap conveyances wouldn’t fit. Needless to say this scooter was a Godsend! Me and my family had a wonderful day at the festival! It couldn’t have worked out more perfect. Jeff has been helpful throughout the entire process. He really made the whole process awesome. Thank you so much!”

Jeff Guzman started KC Mobility in 2023 after 20 years in the U.S. Army. There’s no call center and no warehouse across the country. He and his team own the fleet, deliver it themselves, and pick up the phone when you call. When you’re trusting someone with a loved one’s comfort, it should be a neighbor who treats them like family. That’s the whole idea: so no one gets left behind.

How much does it cost to rent a mobility scooter in Kansas City?
Mobility scooters rent daily, weekly, and monthly. The Pride Go-Go Traveller (3- or 4-wheel) starts at $45/day, $180/week, $400/month; the Pride Go-Go Sport and Go-Go LX with CTS suspension run $50/day, $200/week, $425/month; and the heavy-duty Pride Victory 10 is $60/day, $240/week, $500/month. You're automatically charged the lowest applicable rate for your dates, plus a delivery fee by zone. Reserve online for an exact total or call 913-775-1098.
Do you offer same-day delivery?
Yes. Same-day rentals are booked by phone. Call 913-775-1098 and we'll make every effort to fit in a same-day delivery anywhere in the Kansas City metro; same-day delivery to Lawrence and Topeka depends on availability. Starting tomorrow or later? Reserve online anytime.
Do you deliver to hotels and convention centers?
Yes. Hotel and convention-hotel delivery is one of our most common requests. We deliver the equipment to the hotel bell stand or your room on your arrival day and pick it up when you leave, so it's waiting for you and off your plate at checkout.
Is there a minimum rental period?
Every rental is a minimum of 2 calendar days, delivery or store pickup. With delivery, we bring the equipment at the start and collect it at the end. Need a single day (a game day, a Plaza Lights evening, a one-day event)? Call 913-775-1098 to see if an exception can be made; exceptions are case-by-case, not guaranteed, and cannot be booked online. Wheelchairs, knee scooters, rollators, and transport chairs are priced by the week or month (no daily rate).
How do reservations work, and when do I pay?
You submit a request online, with no payment up front. We review and accept it (usually within a business day), then email a secure payment link due within 48 hours; your reservation is confirmed once it's paid. There's no separate deposit-plus-balance. The booking payment is the rental payment.
Do I need a prescription or insurance to rent?
No. This is a hospitality rental, booked like a hotel or rental car. No prescription, insurance, doctor's note, or paperwork is required. You simply reserve the equipment for your dates.
