Wheelchair Rentals in Kansas City

We rent manual wheelchairs in three seat widths (16, 18, and 20 inches), each companion-pushable or self-propelled, delivered folded and ready to open. Wheelchair rentals bill weekly ($50) or monthly ($100), not daily, since most rentals run several days to a few weeks: a family visit where one person tires from walking, a wedding weekend, a museum or stadium day, or a few weeks at home.

We rent standard manual wheelchairs only. We don't offer power/electric wheelchairs or bariatric (500 lb capacity) chairs. If a standard 16–20 inch manual chair won't fit your needs, call us and we'll tell you honestly whether we're the right fit before you book. Every wheelchair folds for trunk transport and delivers with no paperwork required.

Rental questions

How much does it cost to rent a wheelchair in Kansas City?
Manual wheelchairs are $50 per week or $100 per month. There's no daily rate on wheelchairs, since most rentals run several days to a few weeks rather than a single day. The reservation flow shows your exact total, including delivery, before you confirm.
What wheelchair sizes do you have?
Manual wheelchairs in three seat widths (16", 18" and 20"), each companion-pushable or self-propelled, delivered folded and ready to open. Tell us the rider's size and typical use and we'll recommend a width at booking.
Do you rent power or electric wheelchairs?
No. We rent standard manual wheelchairs only. We do not carry power/electric wheelchairs and no bariatric (500 lb+ capacity) chairs. Our manual chairs support up to 300 lb. If a standard 16"–20" manual chair won't fit your needs, call us and we'll tell you honestly whether we're the right fit before you book.
Is this a good option for a temporary wheelchair need?
Yes. That is what most people use it for: a short-term need like a family visit, a wedding weekend, or a few weeks at home, not a long-term equipment purchase. One week is the minimum, and there's no long-term contract. Return it whenever your temporary need ends.
Do you have a lightweight wheelchair?
Our manual wheelchairs are standard weight (roughly 30-40 lbs folded), not an ultra-lightweight model. If minimum weight for one person to lift and carry is the priority, our transport chair is lighter (under 20 lbs) and may be the better fit. See our wheelchair vs. transport chair comparison below.
Is there a minimum rental period?
Yes. One week is the minimum for wheelchairs, since there's no daily rate. A 10-day rental bills as one week plus a few days at the same weekly rate, not two full weeks.
How does delivery work?
We deliver to your hotel, home, or short-term rental, and to the venue itself on request; venue deliveries carry an additional $50–$75 fee, because they take more of our small team's time. For hotels, the wheelchair is tagged with your name and staged at the bell stand before you check in. See our full hotel delivery process for detail.
Do I need a prescription or insurance to rent?
No. This is a hospitality rental, booked like a hotel or rental car. No prescription, insurance, doctor's note or paperwork is required. You simply reserve the equipment for your dates.
Can I rent a wheelchair for a family member visiting Kansas City?
Yes. This is one of the most common reasons people rent from us: a family visit where one person tires from walking, a wedding weekend, a museum or stadium day, or a few weeks at home. Just enter the rider's details and delivery address when you reserve.
Is this a veteran-owned business?
Yes. Jeff Guzman, a U.S. Army veteran, founded it in 2023 and still runs it today. If you're a veteran, a VA caregiver, or visiting a veteran family member in Kansas City, feel free to mention it when you call. We're happy to help however we can.
What mobility equipment can I rent?
Mobility scooters (3-wheel and 4-wheel Pride Go-Go Traveller, Go-Go Sport, Go-Go LX with CTS suspension, and heavy-duty Victory 10), manual wheelchairs in 16"–20" seat widths, knee scooters, rollators, and lightweight transport chairs.
How much does it cost to rent a wheelchair, knee scooter, or rollator?
Manual wheelchairs (16", 18", and 20" seat widths), knee scooters, rollators, and transport chairs are $50 per week or $100 per month. These categories don't have a daily rate. One week is the minimum.
What is the heaviest-duty option / weight capacity?
The heaviest-duty option is the Pride Victory 10 scooter, which supports up to 400 lb. The Go-Go Sport and Go-Go LX support up to 325 lb, and our manual wheelchairs up to 300 lb. If you're unsure which model fits, call us and we'll match one to the rider's size and use.
How do I return the equipment?
You don't have to bring it anywhere. We pick it up from your hotel, home, or Airbnb when the rental ends, scheduled around your checkout or travel plans. If you picked up at our shop (703 Pennsylvania Ave, Leavenworth, KS), return it there during business hours (10am–5pm daily).
