Our commitment
KC Mobility Scooter Rentals LLC is committed to making this website usable for everyone, including people who use screen readers, keyboard navigation, screen magnification, or other assistive technology. If any part of our site or service is hard to use, we want to fix it — and in the meantime, we'll happily help you directly.
Conformance status
We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2, Level AA — the current international standard. The site passes automated WCAG 2.2 AA testing, and we have remediated the high-impact barriers we found. We consider the site partially conformant: most of the standard is met, while we complete hands-on assistive-technology testing across every page. We are not yet making a claim of full, independently certified conformance — and we'd rather tell you that honestly than overstate it.
What we've done
- Readable color contrast — body and link text meets the AA 4.5:1 ratio.
- Full keyboard operability — including a typed-signature option, so you can complete a booking without a mouse or touchscreen.
- Clear, labeled forms — with error messages that are announced to screen readers.
- A readability-first design — the Atkinson Hyperlegible typeface (built for low vision) for article text, an 18px base size, and generous line spacing.
- Respect for your settings — reduced-motion support, visible focus outlines, a skip-to-content link, descriptive image alt text, and large (44px+) tap targets.
Known limitations
We're being upfront about what we're still working on:
- Some interactive maps and embedded content require JavaScript. Where that's the case, a plain-text alternative (for example, the full hotel list) is always available on the same page.
- We are completing manual screen-reader and keyboard testing across the whole site, and verifying the newest WCAG 2.2 criteria (such as minimum target sizes).

How we assess this site
This statement reflects automated accessibility testing (against WCAG 2.2 AA) combined with a manual review of our reservation flow. We re-check accessibility when we make significant changes to the site. We welcome your feedback — it's the best way we improve.
