Why venues partner with us
Ticket holders call your guest services line, not the promoter's, asking whether there are scooters. Most venues have no fleet; the ones that do run out on peak dates.
Give them our number instead. We deliver to the guest's hotel or home and collect it afterwards; drop-off at the venue is available on request for an added venue delivery fee. Your team gets one answer that works every time, and nothing changes operationally.
KC venues our guests go to
- Bartle Hall & the Kansas City Convention Center: downtown convention and trade show dates; hotel delivery for most attendees.
- Arrowhead Stadium: Chiefs home games and season. Hotel or home delivery before game day.
- Kauffman Stadium: Royals season (81 home games), plus post-season dates when Kansas City runs deep.
- T-Mobile Center: Big 12 Tournament, NCAA regionals, concerts, family shows, and KC Current fan dates. Hotel delivery downtown.
- Kauffman Center for the Performing Arts: Kansas City Symphony, Lyric Opera, Kansas City Ballet, and touring Broadway. Hotel delivery downtown.
- Starlight Theatre: outdoor summer season, with real outdoor walking distances.
- Kansas Speedway: NASCAR weekends, plus race-adjacent events. Hotel delivery in the Legends area.
- Children's Mercy Park: Sporting KC season, plus KC Current at CPKC Stadium.
- Overland Park Convention Center: Johnson County trade shows and conventions; delivery to OP hotels.
These are simply places our guests go. No arrangement with any venue is implied. If yours isn't on the list, the same hotel-or-home delivery works for it.
How the referral works
The simplest arrangement is the one most venues pick: a line in your accessibility FAQ and a number to give callers. When a guest calls asking about mobility equipment, your guest-services rep tells them "we don't have a fleet on-site, but a local rental company, KC Mobility Scooter Rentals, delivers directly to your hotel or home. Here's their number." That's it. The guest calls us, books, and the rental happens. Your team never touches a rental agreement.
Delivery to the hotel or the venue
Most ticket-holder rentals deliver to the guest's Kansas City hotel or home before the event. For guests who would rather meet the equipment at the venue (local attendees driving in for a single game or concert), drop-off at the venue is available on request for an added venue delivery fee, and we pick up at the same place after the event. We work out the drop-off spot with the guest when they book.
ADA-compliance context
Stadiums and arenas have ADA obligations that include access-aisle routes, designated seating, and signage, but not a guaranteed in-house equipment fleet. Most guests asking about scooters are asking about a service they intend to pay for themselves. A rental-partner referral satisfies the practical ask (a usable scooter on game day) without expanding your venue's equipment-fleet commitments.
Our rentals also have no paperwork chain attached. They're hospitality transactions with no prescription. That keeps the guest-services workflow light: no intake forms, no eligibility review. The same way a guest might rent a car or book a hotel.
A staffed station for larger public events
For larger public events, we can discuss bringing a staffed mobility rental station to the venue. For an on-site station, the event provides an enclosed vendor tent, a generator or suitable power source, and a nearby place for our service vehicle. Depending on the event's distance from our Leavenworth headquarters and its length, lodging and/or a daily personnel fee may apply, and we discuss those details in advance. Guests rent and pay KC Mobility directly, and our staff handles the equipment on site. We have provided this kind of on-site service at KC PrideFest.
Seasonal and event-specific fleet
Peak demand at Kansas City venues is predictable: Chiefs playoff dates, Royals September pushes, Big 12 Tournament week, holiday-concert season at Kauffman Center, NASCAR weekends. We plan fleet capacity around those dates so referrals from your guest-services team don't hit a "sorry, we're sold out" wall. If your venue is adding or moving a major date (a one-off exhibition game, a postponed concert reschedule), give us advance notice and we'll scale accordingly.
What we need from you
Practically nothing. A line on your accessibility FAQ and a number to give callers. No ongoing staff time from your side. If your venue has an accessibility or guest-services page, we'll provide a short paragraph and a direct booking link ready to add, and drop off printed cards for your box office or guest-services team. I'm Jeff Guzman, owner of KC Mobility Scooter Rentals. We're local and veteran-owned, and I answer the phone and handle the deliveries myself.
