For Senior Centers, Activity Directors, AAA Staff, VFW & Faith Communities

Senior Community Partnerships

We help Kansas City senior communities and activity programs with three things our staff doesn't always have time for: free educational sessions for residents, on-site battery health clinics, and group day-trip equipment rentals. Veteran-to-veteran content available for VFW, Legion, and DAV posts.

Programs we offer

Battery Health Clinic

Free on-site battery checks for residents' mobility scooters and power wheelchairs. We bring a load tester and identify batteries with remaining useful life vs. those that need replacement. Fair-price replacement on the spot if requested. Typically 1–2 hours, 8–15 residents. We bring everything.

"How Not to Get Scammed Selling Your Mobility Equipment"

30-minute educational session. Why Facebook Marketplace removes medical-device listings. The five repeat-pattern scams that target elderly sellers. Safe alternatives. We've turned down sales rather than push someone into a transaction they didn't need — that's the tone of the talk.

Mobility 101 — for new owners

Beginner class for residents who recently got a mobility scooter or power wheelchair. Charging routines, battery longevity, basic troubleshooting, when to call a tech vs. handle it yourself. Practical, not technical.

Group day-trip rentals

Planning a community outing — Plaza Lights, Worlds of Fun, a museum visit, a casino trip? We deliver multiple scooters and wheelchairs to your venue, pick them up at the end of the day, handle the logistics so your staff doesn't. Group pricing available.

For VFW, Legion, & DAV posts

Owner Jeffrey Guzman is a U.S. Army veteran, retired after 20 years of service. He's available for veteran-to-veteran post presentations on mobility equipment topics — buying, selling, insurance/Medicare basics, what's free vs. paid, scam awareness specifically for older veterans. No cost. No sales pitch.

For caregiver support groups & faith-based senior ministries

"After the Loss" — a 15-minute consultation we offer free to bereaved families through hospice referrals or directly. We come, look at the mobility equipment, tell you what's worth selling, what we'll haul free, and what we can't help with. Even families who don't end up using us walk away knowing what their realistic options are.

Free resource one-pager

We provide printed business-card-size resource cards for facility front desks ("Selling Mom's mobility scooter? Here's where to start.") that activity directors can hand to families when the need comes up. Email and we'll mail you a stack.
