Events we supply

Big floors, long days and a lot of walking. These are the events where a fleet keeps people taking part.

Three ways to run your fleet

Bulk fleet rental

You choose how many scooters and wheelchairs. We deliver them to your venue as one block, charged and checked, and collect them when the event ends. Your staff or volunteers hand them out.

  • One delivery, one pickup, one invoice
  • One point of contact receives and returns the equipment
  • Good for multi-day shows, exhibitor groups and VIP programs

On-site rental services

We set up a staffed booth at your event and rent directly to attendees. You provide the space; we handle checkout, orientation, battery swaps and returns all day.

  • Host-funded, attendee-pay, or a partial host budget
  • Contactless card payment and signed rental agreements at the booth
  • Reporting on rentals against your budget for host-funded programs

Venue banner revenue share

For convention centers, casinos and event grounds. Display our banner under a long-term agreement and earn 10% of the rental fees on every rental we deliver to your location.

  • Long-term location agreements only, not one-time events
  • Paid on a set schedule with a report of every rental
  • Rental fees only, not sales tax, the damage waiver or delivery fees
How the banner program works →

Fleets are quoted per event, based on quantity, days, venue and staffing. Individual attendees who want their own scooter for the trip can have one delivered to their hotel.

Venue Banner Revenue Share Program

For convention centers, casinos and event grounds. Let us display our banner at your location, and you earn 10% of the rental fees on every rental we deliver to your location.

  1. Step 1

    Sign a long-term agreement

We agree on where the banner goes and which delivery addresses count as your location.

  2. Step 2

    Your guests see the banner

Guests who need help with long walks book a scooter or wheelchair delivered to your location.

  3. Step 3

    You earn 10%

Paid on a set schedule, with a report of every rental delivered to your location.

  • No cost to your venue and nothing for your staff to run. We deliver, pick up and handle every rental.
  • The share is on rental fees only, not sales tax, the damage waiver, delivery fees or deposits.
  • Long-term agreements only. Not offered for one-time events.

How a fleet rental works

  1. Step 1

    Tell us about the event

Dates, venue, expected attendance and whether it’s indoors, outdoors or both.

  2. Step 2

    Get a plan and quote

We recommend a fleet size and mix, a service model and a price, usually within a day.

  3. Step 3

    We deliver and set up

Timed to your venue’s load-in. Every unit arrives charged and checked.

  4. Step 4

    We collect at the end

We pick up the whole fleet when your event wraps, so your team doesn’t have to.

A fleet matched to your venue

Convention halls

Compact scooters that turn tightly in crowded aisles and fit through doorways and elevators.

Fairgrounds and parks

Sturdier units for grass, gravel and slopes, with batteries planned for a full day outside.

Scooters and wheelchairs

A mix of both, so attendees who prefer a wheelchair, or a companion who can push one, have that option.

Why hosts work with a local fleet

What event riders say

  • Elks Convention

“It was such a pleasure to work with Jeff at KC Mobility Scooter Rentals. My wife and I were in Kansas City for the Elks Convention. My wife has COPD and we walked every day to get to the convention center. The scooter was a life saver for her. Without a doubt, if you need services they offer, you need to use KC Mobility!”

  • “Jeff was absolutely incredible to work with. I was able to reach him about midnight on a Saturday night — my mother-in-law could not understand how to work her wheelchair. He had a wheelchair delivered to her care facility by 9 AM on Sunday morning. That's amazing and totally unheard of these days. I needed to extend the use time two different times and he was totally easy to work with. I highly highly recommend them for any mobility needs you may have.”

  • “I have MS and I walk with a walker. I attended the Renaissance festival 3 years ago using my wheelchair and a couple of hearty grandsons. It was rough on my walker and miserable for me. This year I heard about this scooter business and was excited to be able to rent it for the festival. I love to attend the festival with my grandkids and great-grandkids and I hate being a burden to them having to push me in a wheelchair. Renting the scooter was easy. The day of the event, meet up went well and I had the best time ever! The scooter was sturdy, well made and easy to operate. I had used a scooter similar to this one a few years ago when I went on a cruise. The scooter did well over the rough terrain of the Renaissance festival. I kept it at the turtle speed which was plenty since there was largest attendance I had ever seen. I was surprised when it was small enough to weave into privy. I was concerned about that, where other handicap conveyances wouldn’t fit. Needless to say this scooter was a Godsend! Me and my family had a wonderful day at the festival! It couldn’t have worked out more perfect. Jeff has been helpful throughout the entire process. He really made the whole process awesome. Thank you so much!”

  • “I cannot recommend KC Mobility Scooter Rentals enough. Jeff was helpful, walked me through the process, and helped me plan the time we would be in Kansas City to ensure my friend that needed help with mobility was well taken care of. He made sure everything was ready before we even arrived at the event and he was very accommodating when we needed to change plans. Every time I spoke with him he was extremely friendly and helpful. If you're visiting KC, and think you might need help with mobility, I HIGHLY recommend you contact them and find out how they can help. I have no doubt you will be impressed with their service.”

Event fleet rental FAQ

How many scooters and wheelchairs can you bring to one event?
Our event fleet is currently up to 40 mobility scooters and 25 wheelchairs. We size each event to its attendance, footprint and schedule, so many events need fewer units than the maximum. Fleet availability depends on the date, so tell us early if you expect to need the full fleet.
What is the difference between bulk fleet delivery and on-site services?
With bulk fleet delivery we bring a set number of units to your venue as one block and collect them at the end. Your team hands them out, and one point of contact is responsible for receiving and returning the equipment. With on-site services we run a staffed rental booth: we check riders out, give each one a short orientation, swap batteries through the day and check units back in.
Who pays, the host or the attendees?
Your choice. A host or sponsor can fund the program so attendees ride at no cost to them, attendees can pay us directly at the booth, or you can mix the two with a partial host budget. A reserved block of units is billed to one account.
How does the venue banner revenue share work?
Revenue share is only offered to convention centers, casinos and event grounds with a long-term agreement. It is not offered for one-time events. Under the agreement you display our banner at your location, and you earn 10% of the rental fees on every rental we deliver there, paid on the schedule in your agreement along with a report of every rental. The share is on rental fees only. It does not include sales tax, the optional damage waiver, or delivery and staffing fees.
How far ahead should we book a fleet?
As early as you can. Larger fleets and busy weekends fill first, and venues often set load-in times months ahead. Send your dates, venue and expected attendance and we will confirm what we can supply.
Do you work with the venue on load-in?
Yes. We plan delivery and pickup around the venue’s load-in schedule and dock rules, and we can share our certificate of insurance with the venue or your risk team ahead of time.
Are you insured?
We carry general liability insurance, which protects our business. It does not cover attendees or hosts. Riders are responsible for damage during use, including damage to the venue or other people’s property. An optional damage waiver (not insurance) covers up to $250 of accidental damage to our equipment only.
Can attendees reserve a unit before the event?
For a staffed booth, attendees can pre-register to speed up checkout, but pre-registration is a checkout shortcut, not a rental reservation. Units go to riders in the order they arrive at the booth. If you need units held for specific people, reserve a block for your group instead.
What areas do you serve?
Events across the Kansas City metro on both sides of the state line, including downtown Kansas City, Overland Park, Kansas City, Kansas, Lawrence and Leavenworth. Events farther out can be arranged.

More for hosts: on-site rentals for festivals and community events, corporate and conference rentals, convention scooter rental in Kansas City and upcoming Kansas City events.
