Best For
- Keeping weight off one foot or ankle while still getting around outdoors
- Outdoor Kansas City venues: Plaza shopping, stadium walks, Worlds of Fun, the Zoo
- Mixed-terrain days where pavement transitions to gravel or grass
- Conference attendees keeping weight off one foot who still need to cover venue distances
- Getting around at home on both indoor flooring and a gravel driveway
A knee scooter is the single most-underused rental in our fleet. When you need to keep weight off one foot or ankle, a knee scooter is faster, less fatiguing, and more stable than crutches. The KneeRover QUAD is our all-terrain pick. Its four pneumatic-tire wheels handle the outdoor surfaces standard knee scooters struggle with.
Why the QUAD Over the Alternatives
Standard knee scooters have smaller, harder wheels optimized for flat indoor flooring. They work great in a home with hardwood or tile, an office hallway, or a flat parking lot, but they fight the rider on grass, gravel, uneven sidewalks, and outdoor-venue transitions. The QUAD's pneumatic tires add a bit of weight and make it much better outdoors.
For a Kansas City visitor keeping weight off one foot who wants to see Plaza Lights, visit the Nelson-Atkins sculpture park, attend a Royals game, or get around Worlds of Fun with their family, the QUAD is the only knee scooter in our fleet that makes all of those realistic.
How the Rental Works
Delivered to your Kansas City hotel, residence, or Airbnb the same way we handle all our mobility rentals. We set it up at delivery: we adjust the knee platform height, demonstrate steering and braking, and leave you our direct number for anything that comes up during the rental. Most knee scooter rentals run 4-8 weeks; extend as needed.
