AAFP Future is one of Bartle Hall's biggest annual medical conferences — days of continuing-education sessions stacked back to back, a sprawling exhibit hall of pharma and equipment vendors, and a schedule that doesn't slow down between sessions. Physicians attending on their own recovery timeline, or simply on their feet from a long clinic week before they even arrived, deserve a way to get from session to exhibit hall to the next session without the day wearing them down before the CME hours are even banked.
AAFP Future 2026 ran July 30 – August 1, 2026 at the Kansas City Convention Center (Bartle Hall). This event has concluded — this page is kept as a reference. For a current or upcoming Bartle Hall convention, see our conventions & conferences guide.
Why a three-day medical conference means real distance
Bartle Hall's exhibit floor spans four contiguous halls on one connected level, with meeting rooms and breakout sessions on the upper levels reached by elevator. A CME-heavy schedule like AAFP Future means moving between session rooms, the exhibit hall, and back again dozens of times across three days — on top of whatever travel got you to Kansas City in the first place.
How delivery works for AAFP Future attendees
We deliver mobility scooters to your downtown Kansas City hotel — never to Bartle Hall itself, since convention loading docks run on show-contractor freight schedules, not individual rental drop-offs.
For a multi-day Bartle Hall convention, we stage the scooter at your hotel's bell stand before your scheduled check-in, cleaned and charged, with same-day delivery available when you order by 2pm CT. You ride from your hotel to Bartle Hall each day; the scooter recharges overnight, and we pick it up at your hotel on whatever schedule fits your departure.
The downtown hotels we deliver to most often for Bartle Hall conventions: the Kansas City Marriott Downtown (skywalk-connected directly to the convention center), the Loews Kansas City, the Hilton President, the Crowne Plaza Downtown, and the Westin and Sheraton at Crown Center. See the full Bartle Hall accessibility guide for entrance, elevator, and parking detail.
What to rent for a three-day session-and-exhibit-hall schedule
A four-wheel travel scooter with strong per-charge range is our standard recommendation for a multi-day medical conference — stable across a full show-floor day, with enough range to cover sessions on the upper levels and the exhibit hall without a midday recharge. Compare scooters. If your mobility need is shorter-distance or you have a colleague who can push, a manual wheelchair (16 to 20 inch seat widths) is a lighter option. Compare wheelchairs.
