We've added Gardner, Kansas to our delivery coverage — two hotels now on our route, near the historic Gardner Junction trail split.
Why Gardner
Gardner Junction is real 19th-century westward-expansion history: the actual site where the Santa Fe Trail split from the Oregon and California Trails, marked today by a National Park Service-affiliated wayside park on US-56. It's the kind of history that's easy to drive past without noticing, and easy to appreciate once you know it's there. Beyond the trail history, Gardner itself has grown into one of the fastest-growing suburbs in south Johnson County — a genuinely expanding market rather than a small crossroads town.
Hotels We Now Cover
- Hampton Inn Gardner Conference Center — a Hilton property with its own on-site conference center
- Super 8 by Wyndham Gardner — a budget-friendly Wyndham property
Both sit in the south Johnson County corridor, convenient to Olathe and the rest of the metro.
What You Can Rent
Our fleet covers the full range of mobility needs: 3-wheel and 4-wheel Pride Go-Go mobility scooters (including the heavier-duty Victory 10 for larger riders), manual wheelchairs in 16", 18", and 20" seat widths, knee scooters for post-surgical recovery, rollators and walkers, and lightweight transport chairs. Scooters rent daily with no minimum. Wheelchairs, knee scooters, rollators, and transport chairs run on a one-week minimum.
How Delivery Works
The process is the same everywhere we deliver: reserve online or by phone, and we bring the insured mobility scooter or wheelchair to your hotel's front desk ahead of your check-in, tagged with your name and stay dates. You pick it up at check-in — no separate rental counter, no extra paperwork — and we handle pickup again when your stay wraps up.
A Practical Business Base
The Hampton Inn's on-site conference center makes Gardner a genuinely useful base for business travel in the south Johnson County corridor — a colleague managing a mobility limitation shouldn't have to skip a multi-day conference because getting between the room and the meeting space is exhausting. Reserve ahead of your trip and the scooter or wheelchair will be waiting at check-in, ready for the whole stay.
Two Price Points, Same Workflow
Whether you're booking the full-service Hampton Inn or the budget-friendly Super 8, the delivery process is identical — reserve, we deliver ahead of your check-in, the front desk holds it, you pick it up when you arrive. Neither property requires anything extra from you beyond a normal hotel check-in.
If you're headed to Gardner for business, a family visit, or simply passing through the south Johnson County corridor, give us a call — we deliver insured mobility scooters and wheelchairs to both hotels on this list.
Growing Fast, Covered Late
Gardner has quietly become one of the faster-growing suburbs in south Johnson County over the past several years, and its hotel inventory grew right along with it — which is exactly why it should have been on our route sooner than it was. A market with a genuine conference center and steady year-round business travel isn't the kind of place that stays uncovered by accident; it's the kind of gap that's easy to miss simply because Gardner sits a little further from the metro core than the suburbs we'd already covered.
A Trail Marker Worth Stopping For
Gardner Junction doesn't get the visitor traffic of a full museum, but it's worth knowing about if you're staying in town regardless — a marked wayside park on US-56 where you can stand at the literal fork where westbound wagon trains split toward Santa Fe or toward Oregon and California. It's a five-minute stop, not a half-day outing, but it's the kind of real, specific history that's easy to miss if nobody points it out.
Reserving for a Conference Stay
If you're booking the Hampton Inn for its conference center, treat the scooter or wheelchair reservation the same way you'd treat any other logistics for a multi-day event — lock it in as soon as your travel dates are set. A daily-rate scooter covers a single-day meeting without paying for time you won't use, while a wheelchair or rollator on our weekly rate makes more sense if the whole trip runs several days.
