Top of range ($500–$600)
- CTS suspension intact, original, and working smoothly
- Both batteries present, dated within last 24 months
- Frame, shroud, and console all clean (no significant scuffs)
- Both keys present
- Captain's seat is original (not replaced with aftermarket)
- Working LED lights and turn signals
Bottom of range ($300–$375)
- CTS replaced with aftermarket springs, or worn and visibly bouncy
- Single battery only, or batteries over 4 years old
- Frame has noticeable scuffs or shroud cracks
- Captain's seat replaced with non-OEM
- Missing original charger
Why CTS is the whole story
The LX is a niche scooter. The buyers willing to pay used-market prices for one are usually replacing an LX they liked — they specifically chose this model for the ride quality, and the ride quality is the suspension. A replaced-with-aftermarket CTS isn't an "LX with new suspension" to the used market; it's "an LX where the main feature is gone."
If your LX has been heavily used (delivery routes, daily errands across uneven terrain), the suspension wears. We test it during the visit. If it's worn we'll explain why the offer comes in lower than the listed range.
