Why we call it "ECV" here too
Most of this site says "mobility scooter" because that's the term Kansas City locals and first-time renters use most often. But if you've traveled with an ECV before — rented one at a theme park kiosk, requested one from an airline's accessibility desk, or used one on a cruise — you already know exactly what this equipment does, and you're used to searching for it by that name. This page exists so you land on the right fleet either way.
The fleet
We rent Pride-brand ECVs — the Go-Go Traveller and Go-Go Sport in 3- and 4-wheel configurations, the Go-Go LX with CTS suspension for a smoother ride on rougher terrain, and the Victory 10 for a larger frame or higher weight capacity. Every unit is cleaned, fully charged, and delivered with a short walk-through so you're comfortable operating it before we leave. Most run 15-20 miles on a full charge — enough for a full day without a recharge.
Where an ECV makes the most difference in Kansas City
- Worlds of Fun — several miles of footpaths over a full-day visit, ride to ride.
- The Kansas City Zoo — large, hilly grounds; real elevation change between exhibits.
- Conventions at Bartle Hall or the Overland Park Convention Center — long concourses across multi-day events.
- The Country Club Plaza — beautiful, but around 15 walkable blocks end to end.
- Chiefs, Royals, and other stadium events — long walks from parking through a big concourse.
