You came for the artists' alley, the panels, the cosplay meetup at 2pm — and the KCI Expo Center's single vast show floor doesn't care which one matters most to you, it makes you walk the same distance to reach all of them. Two days of that adds up fast, especially if you're covering it with a group who move at different paces. A scooter delivered to your Northland hotel means you set your own pace through the whole floor, both days, and still have energy for whatever's happening after doors close.
AnimeVerse Fest runs August 1–2, 2026 at the KCI Expo Center. If you're spending both days on a concrete show floor — vendor hall, panels, photo ops, the works — a mobility scooter or wheelchair keeps the whole weekend comfortable instead of something you're recovering from by Sunday night. We deliver it to your hotel before the event starts. Reserve in about two minutes.
Why a two-day expo floor is harder than it looks
The KCI Expo Center's exhibition space is one large, single-level floor — no stairs or escalators to navigate once you're in, which is genuinely good for accessibility, but it also means every destination on the floor plan is reachable only by walking the full distance to get there. Vendor hall on one end, panel rooms on the other, and everything in between is flat concrete. Add a second day on top of the first and the cumulative mileage is real, whether you're managing a mobility limitation, recovering from a recent injury, or just planning to be on your feet from doors-open to closing both days.
How delivery works for AnimeVerse Fest
We deliver mobility scooters and wheelchairs to hotels near KCI Airport — the natural lodging cluster for a KCI Expo Center event, whether you flew in for the con or drove from out of town. Here's how it works:
- Reserve your dates (August 1–2, or extend a day or two either side if you're making a longer trip of it).
- We deliver to your KCI-area hotel and stage it at the bell stand before your check-in — charged and ready when you arrive.
- Same-day delivery is available when you order by 2pm CT.
- Drive or rideshare from your hotel to the Expo Center — most KCI-area lodging is a 5-15 minute trip.
- Leave it at the same bell stand when you check out; we handle pickup.
What to rent for a two-day artist-alley-to-panels weekend
Mobility scooters — A 3-wheel model gives you the tightest turning radius for crowded vendor-hall aisles and photo-op lines; a 4-wheel model trades a little maneuverability for more stability if you're also planning to explore more of the Northland or downtown KC around the con. Compare scooters.
Wheelchairs — If you'll have someone with you who can push, a manual wheelchair is a lighter, simpler option for a shorter single-day visit. Seat widths from 16 to 20 inches. Compare wheelchairs.
Exhibitor and vendor teams working the con both days: group bookings for 5+ scooters at a single booth or coordinated group qualify for event pricing — call ahead to set it up before the show.
