Doll and collectibles auctions run differently than a typical trade show: there's a preview period where serious bidders study each lot up close before the auction itself starts, which means covering the full display floor at least once, often twice — once to scout, once to confirm before bidding. The KCI Expo Center's exhibition hall is one large, single-level floor with no stairs to navigate, which makes that back-and-forth browsing genuinely comfortable on a scooter instead of a genuine physical toll by the time the gavel gets to your lot.
How delivery works for auction attendees
We deliver mobility scooters and wheelchairs to hotels near KCI Airport — the natural lodging cluster for any KCI Expo Center event.
For a KCI Expo Center event, we deliver to your KCI-area hotel and stage it at the bell stand before your check-in, cleaned and charged, with same-day delivery available when you order by 2pm CT. Drive or rideshare from your hotel to the Expo Center — most KCI-area lodging is a 5-15 minute trip — and leave it at the same bell stand at checkout; we handle pickup.
What to rent for a preview-and-bid day
Auction floors favor careful, close-in maneuvering over speed — a 3-wheel scooter's tighter turning radius makes it easier to pull right up to a display table for a close look, then back out without disturbing the next bidder in line.
