We now deliver insured mobility scooters and wheelchairs to hotels in Lenexa, Kansas — including two properties inside Lenexa City Center, a planned "new downtown" district that's genuinely walkable in a way most suburban Johnson County commercial areas aren't.
Lenexa City Center: A Real Walkable District
Built around 87th Street Parkway and Renner Boulevard as the result of Lenexa's Vision 2020 community planning process, Lenexa City Hall, the Lenexa Rec Center, and the Lenexa Public Market anchor a compact civic and commercial core. Grand Street, a locally owned restaurant serving American cuisine, sits right in the district, with more restaurant concepts opening at the nearby AdventHealth campus over the next year. It's the kind of walkable town-center layout that a lot of newer suburban developments aim for and few actually deliver.
Hotels We Now Cover
- Hyatt Place Kansas City/Lenexa City Center and SpringHill Suites Kansas City Lenexa/City Center — both sit directly inside Lenexa City Center, walkable to Grand Street, the Public Market, and the civic campus
- Candlewood Suites Lenexa - Overland Park Area — extended-stay suites near the I-435/K-10 interchange, a short drive from City Center rather than inside it
Each hotel has its own delivery page detailing exactly what's walkable versus what's a drive, so you know what to expect before you book.
What You Can Rent
Our fleet covers the full range: 3-wheel and 4-wheel Pride Go-Go mobility scooters (plus the heavier-duty Victory 10 for larger riders), manual wheelchairs in 16", 18", and 20" seat widths, knee scooters, rollators and walkers, and lightweight transport chairs. Scooters rent daily with no minimum — a single-day visit works fine. Wheelchairs, knee scooters, rollators, and transport chairs run on a one-week minimum. Everything arrives clean, charged, and insured, delivered straight to your hotel's front desk.
How Delivery Works
The same process we use across the metro: reserve online or by phone, and we deliver the scooter or wheelchair to your hotel's front desk ahead of your check-in, tagged with your name and stay dates. Pick it up at check-in — no separate rental counter, no extra paperwork at the hotel.
Beyond City Center: AdventHealth and the Wider Corridor
Lenexa City Center isn't static — three new restaurant concepts are opening at the nearby AdventHealth campus over the next year, adding to what's already walkable from Hyatt Place and SpringHill Suites. Candlewood Suites, a short drive south near I-435/K-10, serves a different kind of stay: extended business trips where a full kitchen suite matters more than walkability, and where we're just as happy to deliver a scooter for the length of a multi-week stay as a single weekend.
Why This Matters for Lenexa Visitors
If you're staying at Hyatt Place or SpringHill Suites in Lenexa City Center, a mobility scooter means you can actually use the walkability the district was designed for — get to Grand Street for dinner, browse the Public Market, or roll over to the Rec Center, all without needing the car. That's a genuinely different experience than most of our suburban coverage, where "nearby" usually means "a short drive."
Lenexa joins the rest of our Johnson County coverage — Overland Park, Shawnee, and the broader metro — as we keep expanding same-day, insured mobility equipment delivery across Kansas City's suburbs. If you're heading to Lenexa and need a scooter, wheelchair, or other equipment delivered to your hotel, give us a call.
