We've added Louisburg, Kansas to our delivery coverage — a small Miami County town built around one of the region's best-known agritourism draws, with one hotel now on our route.
Why Louisburg
The Louisburg Cider Mill is a genuine regional destination, not a roadside gimmick — a working farm with a fall corn maze, a pumpkin patch, fresh-pressed cider, and the annual Ciderfest, drawing visitors from across the metro every autumn. Louisburg itself is a small, historic Miami County town built almost entirely around the mill's draw, similar in scale and character to Louisburg Family Farm's own footprint.
Hotels We Now Cover
- Stone Haven Lodge — an independent lodge minutes from the cider mill
What You Can Rent
Our fleet covers the full range of mobility needs: 3-wheel and 4-wheel Pride Go-Go mobility scooters (including the heavier-duty Victory 10 for larger riders), manual wheelchairs in 16", 18", and 20" seat widths, knee scooters for post-surgical recovery, rollators and walkers, and lightweight transport chairs. Scooters rent daily with no minimum. Wheelchairs, knee scooters, rollators, and transport chairs run on a one-week minimum.
How Delivery Works
The process is the same everywhere we deliver: reserve online or by phone, and we bring the insured mobility scooter or wheelchair to your hotel's front desk ahead of your check-in, tagged with your name and stay dates. You pick it up at check-in — no separate rental counter, no extra paperwork — and we handle pickup again when your stay wraps up.
A Full Day at the Cider Mill
The cider mill's grounds are a genuine working farm, not a compact indoor attraction — the corn maze, the pumpkin patch, and the orchard rows cover real ground, much of it uneven grass and gravel rather than flat pavement. That's exactly the kind of terrain where a heavy-duty four-wheel scooter earns its keep, and having one waiting at Stone Haven Lodge means you can plan on the whole visit rather than cutting it short partway through.
Fall Weekends Book Up Fast
Ciderfest and the general fall corn-maze-and-pumpkin-patch season are Louisburg's busiest stretch of the year, and hotel rooms at Stone Haven Lodge go quickly on peak weekends. If you know your dates, reserving the scooter or wheelchair as soon as your hotel is booked is the safer bet — we'd rather have it set aside and waiting than scrambling on short notice during the mill's busiest weeks.
If you're headed to Louisburg for the cider mill, or simply staying in town for another reason, give us a call — we'll have your scooter or wheelchair waiting at Stone Haven Lodge before you check in.
More Than One Weekend a Year
It's easy to think of Louisburg as a one-season destination, but the cider mill runs a genuine year-round operation beyond the fall rush, and the town itself has ordinary residents with ordinary mobility needs the rest of the year too — post-surgical recovery, a visiting grandparent, a family member who needs equipment for a longer stay. Stone Haven Lodge's front desk holds the same standard for a random Tuesday in February as it does for a Ciderfest Saturday in October.
An Independent Property, the Same Reliable Process
Stone Haven Lodge isn't part of a national chain, so we coordinate the hand-off details directly with the property when you book — confirming the hold procedure and your arrival window so everything is ready the moment you check in. It's an extra step on our end that you never have to think about; from where you're standing, it works exactly the same as picking up a scooter at any branded hotel on our route.
A Short Drive from Olathe and Paola
Louisburg sits close enough to both Olathe and Paola that a lot of visitors treat the cider mill as a day trip from a hotel elsewhere in the metro rather than an overnight stay in Louisburg itself. Either way works for us — we'll deliver to Stone Haven Lodge if you're staying in town, or to an Olathe hotel if that's your base, as long as the reservation makes clear where the scooter or wheelchair needs to end up.
