Quick answer

How much does a wheelchair rental cost?

$50 per week or $100 per month — no daily rate. Most wheelchair rentals run several days to a few weeks (a family visit, a wedding, a recovery period), which is why we bill weekly and monthly instead of by the day. The reservation flow shows your exact total, including delivery, before you confirm.

The fleet

We rent standard manual wheelchairs in three seat widths — 16", 18", and 20" — each companion-pushable or self-propelled, supporting up to 300 lb. Every chair folds for trunk transport and arrives cleaned and ready to open, with a quick walk-through at delivery.

Who rents a wheelchair from us

The most common reasons: a family visit where one person tires from walking a Kansas City itinerary, a wedding weekend, a museum or stadium day, or home recovery after a procedure. Because there's no daily rate, a wheelchair rental fits naturally into a multi-day visit — you're not paying a premium for the days it sits unused between outings.

What we don't rent

We rent standard manual wheelchairs only — we don't offer power/electric wheelchairs or bariatric (500 lb+ capacity) chairs. If a standard 16"–20" manual chair won't fit the rider's needs, call 913-775-1098 and we'll tell you honestly whether we're the right fit before you book — not after a wasted delivery.

Hotel & home delivery, never the venue

We deliver to your hotel, home, or short-term rental — not to the stadium, convention hall, or event venue itself. For hotels, the wheelchair is tagged with your name and staged at the bell stand before you check in, the same process used for every rental we deliver. See our full hotel delivery page for hotel-by-hotel detail.

No prescription, no insurance paperwork

This is a hospitality rental — the same category as a rental car or a hotel booking, not durable medical equipment. No prescription, no insurance claim, no medical documentation. Reserve online in a couple of minutes or call 913-775-1098 and we'll help you pick the right width.

Frequently Asked Questions

How much does it cost to rent a wheelchair in Kansas City?
Manual wheelchairs are $50 per week or $100 per month — there's no daily rate on wheelchairs, since most rentals run several days to a few weeks rather than a single day. The reservation flow shows your exact total, including delivery, before you confirm.
What wheelchair sizes do you have?
Manual wheelchairs in three seat widths — 16", 18", and 20" — each companion-pushable or self-propelled, delivered folded and ready to open. Tell us the rider's size and typical use and we'll recommend a width at booking.
Do you rent power or electric wheelchairs?
No. We rent standard manual wheelchairs only — no power/electric wheelchairs and no bariatric (500 lb+ capacity) chairs. Our manual chairs support up to 300 lb. If a standard 16"–20" manual chair won't fit your needs, call us and we'll tell you honestly whether we're the right fit before you book.
Is this a good option for a temporary wheelchair need?
Yes — this is exactly what most people use it for: a short-term need like a family visit, a wedding weekend, or a recovery period after a procedure, not a long-term equipment purchase. One week is the minimum, and there's no long-term contract — return it whenever your temporary need ends.
Do you have a lightweight wheelchair?
Our manual wheelchairs are standard weight (roughly 30-40 lbs folded), not an ultra-lightweight model. If minimum weight for one person to lift and carry is the priority, our transport chair is lighter (under 20 lbs) and may be the better fit — see our wheelchair vs. transport chair comparison below.
Is there a minimum rental period?
Yes — one week is the minimum for wheelchairs, since there's no daily rate. A 10-day rental bills as one week plus a few days at the same weekly rate, not two full weeks.
How does delivery work?
We deliver to your hotel, home, or short-term rental — never to the venue itself. For hotels, the wheelchair is tagged with your name and staged at the bell stand before you check in. See our full hotel delivery process for detail.
Do I need a prescription or insurance to rent?
No. This is a hospitality rental service, not a medical provider — no prescription, insurance, doctor's note, or medical paperwork required. You simply reserve the equipment for your dates.
Can I rent a wheelchair for a family member visiting Kansas City?
Absolutely — this is one of the most common reasons people rent from us: a family visit where one person tires from walking, a wedding weekend, a museum or stadium day, or home recovery after a procedure. Just enter the rider's details and delivery address when you reserve.
Is this a veteran-owned business?
Yes — founded 2023 by Jeff Guzman, a U.S. Army veteran, and still owner-operated today. If you're a veteran, a VA caregiver, or visiting a veteran family member in Kansas City, you're welcome to mention it when you call — happy to help however we can.
