The delivery workflow
Standard hotel delivery: book online, pick an Olathe or Overland Park hotel, and we stage the scooter at the bell stand before your check-in. You take possession on arrival, drive to Garmin with the scooter in your car, and reverse at the end of the trip. At checkout, leave the scooter at the hotel; we pick it up the next morning.
The Olathe hotel landscape is well-suited to this: Embassy Suites, Hampton Inn, Holiday Inn Express, and several other properties all sit within 10-15 minutes of the Garmin campus. Overland Park Marriott and Sheraton Overland Park are slightly farther but still convenient. We deliver to all of them.
Employee accommodations
For HR-arranged rentals during an employee’s recovery or accommodation window:
- HR contacts us with dates, the employee’s general accommodation context (no medical detail needed), and the billing arrangement.
- We deliver to the employee’s home or to a campus reception desk before the accommodation start.
- We service any issues during the rental directly with the employee.
- We pick up when the accommodation period ends.
Billing can be company-direct on a corporate card or employee-paid with reimbursement. Either works.
Equipment
Pride Go-Go (travel scooter) and Pride Victory 10 (full-size scooter) cover most workplace use cases. Travel models are easier to fold for car transport and store in a typical office workstation; full-size models give more comfortable seating for full workdays.
