The offsite is at the Convention Center, the agenda runs from breakfast to the evening reception, and one person on the team has already done the math: that’s a lot of ground between the exhibit hall, the Sheraton elevators, and the Corporate Woods dinner. They shouldn’t have to skip the parts that matter because the walking adds up. We deliver a cleaned, charged scooter straight to the hotel bell stand before check-in, so everyone moves at the same pace through the whole event. Nobody waits in the lobby while the group walks ahead.
Overland Park is the largest suburb in the Kansas City metro and the anchor of the south metro. It’s home to the Overland Park Convention Center, Corporate Woods (one of the largest suburban office parks in the region), a substantial restaurant and retail scene centered on 119th Street and Metcalf Avenue, and a growing population of retirees, families, and professionals. For mobility scooter and wheelchair users, Overland Park is well-served. The city’s infrastructure is modern, sidewalks and curb cuts are current in the commercial and residential areas, and the hotels and venues have uniformly strong accessibility.

Overland Park Convention Center. The OPCC anchors the convention calendar for the south metro. For conventions, we deliver to Overland Park hotels near the convention center, with the handoff at the front desk or bell stand of whichever hotel you’ve booked, and to the OPCC’s own accessible loading areas for event-specific deliveries. The OPCC is fully accessible throughout.
Corporate Woods. The 300-acre office park in north-central Overland Park hosts scattered hotels, corporate training venues, and the occasional offsite conference. We deliver to Corporate Woods hotels directly.
Nerman Museum of Contemporary Art. Free public admission, on the Johnson County Community College campus. Accessible throughout. A short visit (60-90 minutes) that pairs well with a south-metro business trip or a family day.
Deanna Rose Children’s Farmstead. A working-farm-style children’s park with accessible paths through the primary visitor areas. A family day destination; accessibility is strongest on the main farmyard, with some of the outdoor natural areas less paved.
Johnson County Arboretum and Botanical Gardens. Paved accessible paths, botanical gardens, and a nature center. A pleasant scooter visit in spring and fall.
Sporting Park (Children’s Mercy Park), Kansas Speedway, and Kansas City metro-west sports venues. Technically in Kansas City, Kansas (not Overland Park), but in our Overland Park delivery zone. We deliver to those venues’ hotels for event weekends.
Milburn Country Club. Private club in Overland Park. We deliver for member family visits, weddings, and club events the same way we handle any private venue.

Delivery and Booking Logistics
Standard delivery. Included in the rental price for any Overland Park address. For same-day delivery, call and we make every effort to fit it in.
Delivery timing. For hotels, delivery before check-in on arrival day is the standard window. For residences and short-term rentals, we coordinate a 30-60 minute window directly with the recipient.
Rental duration. Priced by the rental day; every rental is a minimum of 2 calendar days, delivery or store pickup. Convention rentals typically run 3-5 days; wedding weekends 2-4 days; family visits and business trips vary.
Fleet for Overland Park visitors. Standard four-wheel scooters are the most common choice for OP business travel and convention use. The older parts of Overland Park (Downtown Overland Park on Santa Fe Drive between 79th and 83rd Streets) have more variable accessibility: older commercial buildings, some single-step entries, and historic storefronts where access varies from one business to the next. Most of those businesses have been updated, but calling ahead for a specific restaurant or shop is worth the minute.

Prairiefire and the 135th Street Corridor
Four more (Holiday Inn Express, Hampton Inn South, TownePlace Suites, and My Place Hotel) sit along 135th Street near US-69, within a short drive of the Prairiefire Entertainment District and Corbin Park, two of the bigger shopping and dining destinations in southern Overland Park.
