Important honesty note: KC Mobility Scooter Rentals is not currently a Les Clefs d’Or KC chapter vetted vendor. We aspire to be considered for the chapter’s vendor list. This page exists to give Les Clefs d’Or members and other professional KC concierges enough information to evaluate us independently, request a familiarization visit, or recommend us to a guest after their own assessment.
What Les Clefs d’Or is
Les Clefs d’Or (French: the golden keys) is the international concierge association whose members wear gold crossed-key lapel pins. Membership is selective: applicants need years of professional concierge experience, public-service work, and evaluation by existing members. The credential carries hospitality-industry weight — a guest receiving a recommendation from a Les Clefs d’Or member can read it as the result of professional evaluation rather than random selection.
The KC chapter connects concierges across luxury hotel properties. The association maintains member-curated vendor references that members may consult when guests ask for service recommendations.
What we’d offer if recommended
For a concierge considering whether to mention us to a guest:
- Same-day hotel delivery at every KC luxury property — bell-stand handoff, card-on-file billing, no friction at check-in or checkout.
- 90-minute FBO response for confirmed Signature MKC or Atlantic Aviation MKC requests, with equipment staged before touchdown for known ETAs.
- ADA-compliant fleet — full-size and travel scooters, manual wheelchairs (250-400 lb capacity), transport chairs, knee scooters, rollators. Sized to the situation, never default-stocked.
- Discretion-grade billing — card-on-file with the principal, charter operator, family office, or EA. Same-day itemized PDF invoices. Paperwork never surfaces at the passenger.
- Familiarization visits — we bring equipment to your property for a week so your team can see the fleet firsthand. Recommendations are easier when staff have touched the equipment.
