Fort Leavenworth is the largest federal installation in northeast Kansas — home to the U.S. Army Combined Arms Center (CAC), the Command and General Staff College (CGSC), the TRADOC Analysis Center (TRAC), the 35th Infantry Division, and the Mission Command Training Program. Roughly 1,200+ officers attend CGSC’s flagship 10-month course annually, many bringing families. Beyond the resident student body, thousands of additional officers, DoD civilians, defense contractor staff, and senior leaders rotate through for working groups, conferences, ceremonies, and reunions.
For us, this is the closest possible customer base — we’re based at 703 Pennsylvania Avenue in Leavenworth, minutes from the Fort’s main gates. Mobility rentals serving Fort Leavenworth visitors are a core part of what we do.
Audiences this rental serves
CGSC student families. A 10-month resident course brings officers and their families to Leavenworth for nearly a year. Family members visit for orientation, family weekends, milestone ceremonies, and graduation. Many of those visiting family members are older parents or grandparents managing mobility considerations during the visit.
Retired military. CGSC class reunions, change-of-command ceremonies, retirement gatherings, and AUSA-affiliated events bring retired senior leaders back to the Fort. The Fort’s footprint — multiple buildings, Lewis and Clark Center, Frontier Army Museum, the Officers’ Club — covers significant distance across a multi-day ceremony or reunion.
Visiting defense contractor staff. Northrop Grumman, Leidos, BAE Systems, Textron, General Dynamics, CACI, SAIC, and other primes plus mid-tier integrators rotate teams through Fort Leavenworth for CGSC working groups, TRAC analytical projects, and CAC program engagements. Multi-day visits with hotel-based accommodation are routine.
TRAC and program-level working groups. Federal civilian staff, contractor analysts, and visiting officers gather for week-long working sessions at TRAC and various CAC directorates throughout the year. Standard hotel-delivery workflow.
How the rental works
On-post lodging delivery. For visitors staying at the IHG Army Hotels on Fort Leavenworth (Hoge Barracks, Olive Hotel, Otis Hotel) or in TLF, we coordinate delivery to the front desk under your name when you have an approved on-post presence. Tell us your lodging facility and check-in date during booking.
Off-post Leavenworth delivery. Holiday Inn Express Leavenworth, Best Western, and other Leavenworth-area hotels are standard delivery destinations. Same workflow as any KC-area hotel: scooter staged at the bell stand before your check-in time, picked up at checkout.
Direct delivery to a Leavenworth address. For longer-term rentals tied to a CGSC class window (extended-stay accommodations for resident officers’ visiting parents, for example), we deliver to a Leavenworth-area residence and pick up at the end of the rental.
What we are and aren’t
We’re a hospitality rental — direct-pay, no insurance billing, no DoD medical paperwork, no clinical context required. The rental is what you’d expect of a car rental in flexibility and ease. For service-member medical equipment (active-duty medical appointments, VA-tied DME, post-deployment recovery equipment), work through the appropriate military medical channel. Our work is the visitor-side, family-side, and hospitality-side of a Fort Leavenworth visit.
