Best Lawrence hotels for an Allen Fieldhouse game
The Oread Hotel sits on KU’s campus boundary at 12th & Oread, the closest hotel to Allen Fieldhouse. The Eldridge on Mass Street is downtown, a short rideshare to campus. Hampton Inn Lawrence and Hilton Garden Inn Lawrence are practical chain-brand bases for late bookers.
For visitors based in Kansas City driving in for a single game, plan an extra 45-60 minutes for traffic on game days, especially men’s basketball.
