Blue Hills Country Club is a private club in south Kansas City, founded in 1912 — an 18-hole, par-72 course that’s hosted a century of member golf, weddings, and club events, and, most years, a week of professional tournament golf that brings players, families, and galleries from well outside Kansas City. Whatever brings you there, a scooter or wheelchair delivered ahead of time means no one in your group has to sit out.
How Delivery Works for Blue Hills
We deliver directly to the club — coordinated with you or the front desk ahead of time, tagged and ready for pickup. For tournament week, that often means equipment for an aging parent or family member who’s come to watch every round; for a wedding or member event, it’s the same straightforward drop-off and pickup any private venue gets from us.
Tournament Week
Most years, Blue Hills hosts a PGA TOUR-sanctioned Korn Ferry Tour event — multiple rounds of professional golf across a full week, with practice rounds, a pro-am, and tournament days drawing players’ families and spectators from around the country. We’re an independent hospitality rental service, not affiliated with or endorsed by the tournament, its organizers, the PGA TOUR, or the Korn Ferry Tour — we simply deliver equipment to the families and guests who need it. Confirm current-year tournament dates with the club or the tournament’s own website before planning your visit.
Getting Around the Course
A full 18 holes covers real distance, and following a group for a full round — or several rounds across a multi-day event — means miles of walking on cart paths and turf. A standard four-wheel scooter or a wheelchair handles the paved cart-path network comfortably; during tournament week, follow the event’s own gallery-rope and walkway guidance for spectator areas.
Common Rental Scenarios
- Tournament-week family visits — a parent or grandparent following a player for the full week, delivered before the practice round and picked up after the final round.
- Weddings and private club events — a family member who needs a scooter or wheelchair for the day, delivered ahead of the event.
- Member family visits — day-to-day mobility support for a member’s guest or family, no different from a hotel or residential delivery elsewhere in the metro.
