The drive into Lawrence is the easy part. It’s the walk from the LMH Health parking structure, down the long corridors to the room, that quietly decides how much of yourself you have left when you finally sit down beside the person you came for. You shouldn’t have to spend it before you even say hello. We deliver a cleaned, charged scooter to your Lawrence hotel before you arrive, so your energy goes to the visit — not the hallway.
LMH Health (formerly Lawrence Memorial Hospital) is the primary hospital for Lawrence and Douglas County. Out-of-town families visiting patients at LMH commonly combine the hospital visit with the broader Lawrence experience — KU campus visits, Massachusetts Street downtown, and area sightseeing — in a single multi-day trip.
We rent mobility scooters to family caregivers and visitors. Hotel-delivered to your Lawrence base, hospitality rental, no medical paperwork.
How Delivery Works for an LMH Visit
Standard hotel-delivery workflow. We deliver to your Lawrence hotel before your check-in window, tagged with your name, held by the bell stand or front desk. From the hotel, take the scooter to the hospital via personal vehicle or rideshare.
Lawrence is in our Regional delivery zone — approximately $75 each way from our Leavenworth fleet.
What we explicitly don’t do
- We don’t bill insurance, Medicare, or Medicaid.
- We don’t communicate with the hospital’s care team.
- We don’t provide patient mobility equipment for discharge.
- We don’t provide medical advice.
For patient medical equipment, the hospital’s care team or a credentialed DME provider is the path. See DME vs. hospitality rental.
