Rental agreements, cancellation policies, delivery procedures, damage checklists — the documents every rental business needs and nobody enjoys writing. These are the ones I use, in a form you can put your own business into.

Each one arrives as a finished PDF plus an editable copy, emailed the moment you pay.

I run a mobility rental business. I am not an attorney, and nothing here is legal advice. Rental, contract and consumer law differ by state and change over time. Have a lawyer licensed where you operate review anything before you use it with a customer — what you put in front of the people you rent to is your responsibility.

Questions

What do I actually get?
A zip, emailed within a minute of paying. Inside it is the document as a finished PDF and, where one exists, an editable Word copy so you can put your own business name, rates and city into it — which is the whole point of a template. There is also a short licence file naming you as the purchaser.
Are these written by a lawyer?
No, and I want that stated plainly rather than buried. These are the documents I use in my own rental business in Kansas City. They are not legal advice, I am not an attorney, and rental and consumer law varies by state and changes. Have a lawyer licensed where you operate read anything before you put it in front of a customer. What you are buying is a well-worn starting point, not a legal opinion.
Can I edit them and use my own business name?
Yes — that is what the editable copy is for. Use them, change them, rebrand them, run them across as many of your own locations as you like. The one thing you cannot do is resell them, give them away or bundle them into something you sell. One purchase covers one business.
How long can I download for?
The window is shown on each document before you buy, and it starts the moment you pay. When it ends, the link stops working and access is over — so save the files somewhere of your own as soon as they arrive. If you lose them inside the window, email me and I will re-send.
Are the files marked in some way?
Yes. Every copy is generated for one buyer and carries your email address — on the page, and in a few places that are not on the page. That is there to make casual resale traceable, and I would rather tell you it exists than have you discover it. It does not stop you using or editing the documents in any normal way.
Can I get a refund?
Because these are downloads, they cannot really be returned once they are on your machine. If something is wrong with a file, does not open, or is plainly not what the page described, email me at jeff@kcmobilityrentals.com and I will fix it or refund it. I would rather do that than argue with someone over a document.
