The Booking System I Run My Own Business On

Most rental software is built by people who have never loaded a scooter into a van at seven in the morning. This wasn't. It is the system behind KC Mobility Scooter Rentals, set up so another rental business can run on it — your equipment, your rates, your delivery area, your name on it.

It goes into the website you already have. You don't have to start again.

It isn't open to other businesses yet — I'd rather finish it than hand someone a half-built booking system in the middle of their season. If you want it when it's ready, tell me and I'll come back to you.

Coming soon — not open to other businesses yet

What it does

Your catalog, with real availability

Equipment, photos, rates, and what is actually free on a given date — so you stop double-booking the same scooter out of a spreadsheet.

Bookings on your own website

It embeds into the site you already have rather than replacing it, styled to match what is around it.

Delivery and pickup the way you run it

Your service area, your delivery fee, your time windows and your operating hours — not a generic slot somebody else chose.

Waivers signed at booking

The customer signs before they turn up, instead of you holding a clipboard in a hotel lobby.

Extras and deposits

Add-ons priced flat or per day, and deposit handling for the equipment you would rather not lose.

Your branding, not mine

Colours, logo and wording are yours. Nothing your customers see mentions my business.

Where it's actually up to

The booking side works — it runs my business every day. Card payments are built but not switched on, and that's the main thing between now and opening it to anyone else.

I'd rather tell you that now than have you plan a season around something you can't have yet.

You keep your money

A flat monthly fee, and no percentage of your rentals. Whatever your customers pay you is yours.

I'm not printing a price before it's open. A number set today for something unfinished is a guess I'd only have to walk back, and you'd remember the first figure. You'll know the cost well before there's anything to commit to.

Want it when it's ready?

Leave your details and I'll come back to you when it opens. Tell me what you're running now and I'll have something useful to say when I do — no obligation, and nothing to decide today.

Your details come to me directly. No newsletter, no list, no passing them on. Prefer to talk? Call 913-775-1098.

Straight answers

What is it?
Booking software for a mobility equipment rental business. Your equipment and rates, real availability, delivery and pickup scheduling, waivers signed at booking. It is the system I built to run my own rental business, set up so another business can run theirs on it.
Do I need a new website for it?
No. It works as an embed — a small snippet goes into a page on the site you already have, and the catalog and booking flow appear there, styled to match. If you don't have a site worth embedding into, that's a different conversation and there's a page for it.
What does it handle day to day?
Your catalog with real availability so you stop double-booking the same scooter, a booking calendar, delivery and pickup with your own time windows and operating hours, delivery fees, waivers signed before the customer turns up, add-on extras, deposits, and staff accounts.
Can customers pay by card through it?
Not yet. The card side is built but not switched on, and finishing it is one of the things standing between now and opening this up. When it does open, taking bookings and taking payment will work together rather than you handling the money separately.
What does it cost?
A flat monthly fee, not a cut of your bookings. I'm not printing a number before it's open, because a price I set today for software that isn't finished is a guess I'd have to walk back. You'll know the cost well before there's anything to commit to.
Do you take a percentage of my rentals?
No. What your customers pay you is yours. It has never sat between an operator and their own takings and it is not going to.
How many businesses are using it?
One, and it's mine. It runs my Kansas City operation every day, which is the only reason I'd consider letting anyone else near it. Nobody outside my business is on it yet and I'm not signing anyone up — when that changes, the people who asked hear first.
What happens to my data if this goes away?
Fair question to ask anyone selling you software. My own business runs on it, so it doesn't get switched off while I'm still renting scooters. Your customers and bookings are yours and you'd get them out. Ask me directly on the call — I'd rather answer it than have you wonder. Or email jeff@kcmobilityrentals.com.
