The Kansas City Marriott Downtown sits a short, flat walk from Bartle Hall along 13th Street, close enough that the morning trip over is a quick, easy part of the day. The Kansas City Marriott Downtown sits directly adjacent to the Kansas City Convention Center complex, with 970 guest rooms and a design built around Marriott's "Room that Works" ergonomic standard. It's also within reach of the T-Mobile Center, so the hotel draws both convention attendees and concert or sports fans in the same downtown stay. The Marriott Downtown does have its own skybridge, but it connects to the hotel's own ballroom and meeting rooms, not to Bartle Hall itself. Scale for conventions. With 970 rooms, the Marriott Downtown is sized for the biggest Bartle Hall weekends without straining check-in lines, elevator wait times, or bell-stand service. That matters when a large corporate annual meeting or a major trade show fills the whole convention hotel block at once.
Dual-purpose location. Because the hotel also sits within reach of the T-Mobile Center, it works just as well for a concert or sports-event stay as for a convention. That's useful if your trip combines a Bartle Hall event with an evening show.

Getting From the Marriott Downtown to Bartle Hall
The walk from the Marriott Downtown to Bartle Hall's 13th Street entrance is short and flat, a few minutes on a scooter, with working curb cuts along the route. It's an outdoor walk, not an indoor connection (the Marriott's own skybridge only reaches its ballroom and meeting rooms). In good weather it's a quick, pleasant roll. In rain, snow, or extreme heat, rideshare to the 13th Street entrance is the simpler option, and drop-off zones there accommodate accessible transportation without issue.
For evening plans beyond Bartle Hall, like the Power & Light District, the Crossroads or the Streetcar line, you'll use the same accessible downtown sidewalk network as the rest of the convention hotel cluster.
Accessible Rooms and Amenities
Marriott properties maintain ADA-compliant accessible room categories as a brand standard, and the Marriott Downtown is no exception. Specific accessible-room configurations (roll-in showers, room layout, proximity to elevators) vary by category.
