Nearly a Century of Mounted Hunting
Mission Valley Hunt Club traces to 1927, when it was founded with a clubhouse and kennels near 83rd and Mission Road in what was then rural Johnson County. As development reached that land through the 1970s, members purchased an 800-acre former gun-hunting property near Paola, and the club relocated there in 1986 — the land became a Kansas Land Trust property in 2002, preserving it as open countryside. We’re an independent hospitality rental service and aren’t affiliated with or endorsed by the club — we simply deliver equipment to the members, families, and guests who need it.
Getting Around the Grounds
The clubhouse and kennel area connect by gravel and grass drives, and a scooter or wheelchair handles the developed grounds comfortably. The open hunt fields are reserved for mounted riders, but spectator areas near the clubhouse are easy to reach.
