Oak Grove is a small, friendly town on the far eastern edge of Jackson County, right off I-70. Its biggest weekend is Lick-Skillet Days, the Chamber of Commerce festival that fills Broadway with craft, antique, and food booths each fall. In summer, Bent Oak Park hosts the city’s Sparks & Stripes celebration, and Fleming Park’s two lakes are a short drive west.
Where we deliver in Oak Grove
We deliver mobility scooters, manual wheelchairs, transport chairs, knee scooters, and a lightweight rollator to homes, hotels, and short-term rentals across Oak Grove. We also serve Napoleon, Camden, and Bates City. Most Oak Grove bookings are for a stretch at home or a visit from out-of-town family, and we are glad to make the drive.
We set the equipment up at your door, show you how it works, and come back for it when the rental ends. Every rental is a minimum of 2 calendar days.
The drive from our shop
Our shop is in Leavenworth, Kansas, about 70 minutes from Oak Grove. Because of that distance, we ask that you book a few days ahead so we can plan the route.
Festival weekends and outings
A scooter makes a festival day on Broadway or an evening of fireworks at Bent Oak Park much simpler, with less standing and an easy ride back to the car. It is just as handy for a day at Lake Jacomo or a garden visit east along Highway 50. We deliver to your hotel, home, or short-term rental; delivery to the venue itself is available on request for an added $50–$75.
Lick-Skillet Days is organized by the Oak Grove Chamber of Commerce, and dates can shift from year to year, so confirm the weekend with the Chamber before you book.
