E.H. Young Riverfront Park has 1.3 miles of concrete loop trails, a destination playground, pickleball courts, a StoryWalk and the Monarch Migration Sculpture. It is also the trailhead for two longer routes. The Missouri Riverfront Trail runs about five miles west to English Landing Park in Parkville, partly along the levee top with little shade. The Line Creek Trail heads east through mature woods for about three miles inside the city, with steeper grades farther along. A scooter handles the park loops well; on the longer trails, plan your distance around a full battery charge.
Casino visits
Argosy is a short distance from the riverfront park, so a single rental can cover an afternoon outside and an evening inside. Guests staying at the hotel can have equipment delivered to the hotel, ready when they arrive.
